No picture... I will do better.
Day 1 - take two
So.... I obviously didn't keep up with this. So my goal is to start over again. Now that I have the iPhone I should be able to easily take a picture a day. So for today's picture this is self-portrait of a lazy Sunday.
Now, all the pictures won't be Iphone pictures. Because I do still love my camera. But it'll be a mix of iPhone pictures and DLSR pictures.
Day 24
Day 23
Each year we get a bird nest in our carport. They usually choose one of the crevices in there, but we always have one. It's a safe place from snakes, and the like, and it's out of the wind and rain. This year I was amazed at the nest. It was built directly on the side of the wall. I have no idea how it's staying. All I can say is that the momma bird is an engineer.
A couple of days ago the babies hatched. I took several pictures. In fact, this isn't the best one, but the only one I got with two of them sticking their heads out. You all may see another picture on another day as they get older, but until then... he we go.
Day 22
As you have seen from my previous posts we recently went to the beach. On this trip Brantley discovered the swing. We learned he LOVES to swing, and so of course we had to buy one for our house. He's also in the last week learned to wave. He loved to wave at people at random times and wave in general. So here is a picture of B doing his two favorite things - swinging and waving! Also, he's not going as high as he looks! The tree has some really low branches.
Day 21
When I started this project I swore I wouldn't miss a single day... and yet today I did. There isn't even a good reason other then I completely forgot. So I have a new goal. I will miss less then 7 days of the next year of pictures. Maybe this is more realistic.
Day 5
Work once again today, but thankfully we came home earlier. I was trying very very hard to get a picture of one of the rabbits that hangs out in our yard, but he hid from me! And so instead I got these. I couldn't choose just one today... so here are my 3 favs.
Day 4
Today was a long, long day. I worked today until 6 and then the hubby and I went to Babies R Us, Old Navy and supper. It was a good day - work was fun and shopping was good. We got Brantley a lot of the things he'll need for the beach. I was plum tired when I got home. I ALMOST didn't take a picture today at all. I decided to come through and took a picture of my tuckered out son. So here he is ladies and gents...
Day 3
Today was a work day. And I am exhausted.
My son is teething and so EVERYTHING goes in his mouth. Tonight's favorite was a bath time squirty toy.
Day 2
My husband went fishing today. This is nothing new because he goes fishing all the time. He loves fishing about as much as he loves anything else in this world. I am sure our son will grow up to be a fisherman himself. I'm not sure he'll have much choice. =)
When P called me and said he was coming home he asked if I'd come over to his uncles (where he keeps his boat) and take some pictures of his fish. I thought this might be a good opportunity to take a few artistic pictures of dead fish (is that possible?) and so I went. And I did take pictures of the fish, however, his uncle and aunt's house has a nice flower garden as well. I decided that flower pictures might be more visually appealing than dead fish so I choose this as my favorite picture for today.
In truth I'm not very enamored with it. But I didn't really like any of the pictures I took that much - except the ones of my son. BUT since I'm working 8am to 6pm the next three days in a row I am pretty sure the next three days of pictures will be of my son, because, lets face it - he's an easy subject =). Hence the reason I am sharing this one. Hope you may like it better then me.
